This unique design of this positive traction unit is the only LSD to buy. Other brands like Phantom Grip are toys compared to this and have very bad reviews. The save Automatic action sold here has been applied to Formula 1 cars for years and stood the test of time. Totally eliminating torque steer like other LSD units this uses gears not plates to ware and break. Limited Slip Differential take the same standard Honda ATF-Z1 fluid requiring little or no maintenance. Sets of helical gear pinions mesh to provide normal speed differential action. In the event of wheel slip, torque bias is immediately generated by the axial and radial thrusts of the pinions in the pockets. The resultant friction force enables the driving road wheel and sun gear to transmit a greater proportion of the torque. This effect is progressive but at no stage does the differential lock hence the inherent safety of this LSD Torque Biasing Differential. Fits Manuel only.
